These 600 x 400 mm boxes
are designed for stacking vegetables on pallets
for movement by lorries and shipping containers.
They are made to a general standard, with local variations, by many makers.
Through clever design,
a lightweight box-shaped 'net' achieves reasonable strength.

Description
We call them CORNER TUBE BOXES,
as each corner has a strong vertical circular tube,
which transmits the weight down to the ground.

Stacking
Provided your surface is LEVEL,
and all boxes are similar,
the bottom of each corner tube should fit into the top of the one below,
locking them together.

Most 600 x 400 mm Corner Tube Boxes = 200 to 230 mm - a few 170-195 mm.
